lol the ottoman empire? no , are you familiar that about 40 years ago, the Turks invading my mother’s country of Cyprus, killing and kidnapping many many people. my mom was around 4 or 5 at the time. they had to flee from their house. their were driving to get away and they were swerving trying to dodge bombs being dropped by planes. they took my mother’s home. they have caused pain and so much suffering. till this day, more than 2000 people are still missing. they were never found. no one knows what happened to them. You know what their reason was for the invasion? they had no reason. we are a tiny country. we couldn’t defend ourselves. btw, they still occupy half of the island and just recently let Cypriots o go and visit. yes, I said visit. people go back and visit their old homes and find it exactly the way they left. they ruined it. it used to be so beautiful. But they really ruined it. they have no right to be there.
